Is there a free server with a database?
Oracle Cloud Always Free gives Arm VMs and a MySQL HeatWave database, but no PostgreSQL, with a card at signup. redu gives an always-on Ubuntu server and Postgres.
Checked 1 November 2026: Render, Railway, Netlify, Prisma and Northflank pair free app hosting with a database, each with a catch; redu (our product) pairs a server with Postgres. Neon is database-only; Oracle gives VMs you run yourself.
Where redu is weaker: Oracle gives far more memory and traffic.
redu is our product. Every other provider below is quoted from its own pages, read on 1 November 2026. Prices and limits change, so check each provider's linked page.
Always on, run by your AI agent.

Yes. Render's free Postgres expires 30 days after creation, then is deleted after a 14-day grace period.
Render, Railway, Prisma, Northflank and Neon say no card; Netlify does not say. Oracle needs one at signup.
