About

Your documents, your embeddings and your chat history live in a managed Postgres on your own private VM in the EU.
You bring the model: Khoj talks to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, and redu never sees the key.
Upstream ships this with authentication disabled; this recipe removes that flag and proves it from outside with a check that fails loudly.
No GPU anywhere: the official image is built against CPU-only torch, and the two ranking models it downloads are a couple of hundred megabytes.
