- Documents, spreadsheets, code, kanban, forms and a whiteboard, all encrypted in the browser before they reach the server.
- No database: every document is a file on the VM's own volumes, so the volumes are the whole durability story.
- Two hostnames, not one, because CryptPad loads its interface from a sandbox origin that cannot reach your account keys.
- Nobody is an administrator until you mint an install token, so there is no first-visitor-wins race to lose.
